We are excited to share a significant achievement from Next Generation Recycling Machines (NGR). The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) has issued a positive Scientific Opinion for NGR's Liquid State Polycondensation (LSP) process for PET recycling. This milestone is particularly noteworthy as LSP is the first recycling process to be evaluated under the updated Regulation (EU) 2022/1616.

 

NGR submitted the comprehensive dossier for the LSP process in July 2023 and worked closely with EFSA throughout the evaluation to address all queries. The positive Scientific Opinion, published on January 13, 2025, confirms the exceptional decontamination efficiency of the LSP technology across all four available machine sizes: P:REACT 600, 1200, 2000, and 3000.
